A Little More About Faith

Hey Sis, real quick. I just wanted to write something again about faith. Faith has just been coming more to me for a few weeks now. I just got done listening to a podcast episode from Change Church by Pastor Dharius Daniels. Absolutely love him & their sermons. He has a guest pastor speak on the most recent episode I listened to titled “The Walk Back” (it’s been published on July 16 with Apple Podcasts if you wanted to check it out) — But the guest pastor bout tore me up as I was driving on my way to work, literally brought me to tears as I’m pulling into work.

He talked about having faith, faith when you’re in the deep waters, having faith mixed with fear, anxiety & brokenness. Just on & on about faith, gave his story, his story was amazing, just from where he came from & comes from. He touched on how him & his wife went through a period of infertility & that’s when I noticed I was getting ready to start dropping tears.

Yadda yadda, but just l based off of what the pastor was talking about. It just hit me. & I just wanted to mention this…

Just have faith to keep going. Hold onto whatever dreams, visions, desires, that God has for you. Whatever it is that He’s telling you, that He’s giving you, that He’s working out for you. That very thing that you think won’t happen, it won’t as long as you keep holding on to the unbelief & lack of trust. It’s ok to have questions, it’s ok to go to the teacher to ask those questions… It’s ok to have faith & some anxiety, it’s ok to have faith with some fear, because truly, you’re walking into something that you’re never done before, never seen before, & never thought you could ever imagine. But faith comes by hearing, that is hearing the word of God. Faith, will allow you to keep stepping, one foot after another. Faith will allow you to keep walking towards God. Faith will have you going from walking to Him, to being fully confident in walking WITH Him. Faith again, comes by hearing, Which is His word in His WORD, & the word that He has personally given you. Use that faith that’s as small as a mustard seed, To be able to tell those mountains, that they have to move from here to there. Believe in what the Lord tells you, believe that He will see you through it. Believer that He knows the plans that He has for you. Believe that His plans are to prosper you & not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future. Believe even when it doesn’t seem like it, when it doesn’t sound like it, when it doesn’t feel like it. He’s already seen your ending from the beginning. He wants you to trust Him as you’re walking through the middle of your unfolding story. He holds every significant detail. But you have to trust & have faith that the Author who created you & your story, knows exactly what to do with what He’s creating.

Cause Sis believe me, this is a struggle for me. But it’s hopefully becoming more of a practice for me.
