A Morning Remark

Hey Sis, good morning to you.

I had something to say this morning, it’s just real quick. It’s really by God’s grace and His mercies that we are covered every single day. It dawned on me for a hot second as I’m getting ready for work that, we have everything that we truly don’t deserve. Just thinking about all the people who’ve been impacted by the recent Hurricane down in Florida. Some people have literally just lost it all. And here some of us are that still have what we need. God doesn’t have to give us a roof over our heads. He doesn’t have to put food on our table. He doesn’t have to provide us with a job, a car, clothes on our back, etc, etc… SO I guess what I’m trying to say is, just be grateful every single day. This is for me first before I say it to someone else. If it’s something I’m learning this year, almost every other week. I just think about the fact that God doesn’t have to “do” but He “DOES”. No, we may not be where we’d like to be completely, have some of the things that we want, need, desire, yadda yadda yadda. But let’s be thankful for what we have now. Let’s start complaining less and less and turn the complaints into praises and a “thank you”. Not taking away that we are still human and we may complain here and there. When that happens though? Let’s just follow it up with a “But God, I thank you anyway”
