Draw nigh, draw nigh. Draw near to Him, draw near to me. In everything that I do, let it be unto Him.
Father, Father, thou art in Heaven.
Hear, my cry, hear my prayer.
Today we learned, today we learned, & today I learned, that you will always fight for me.
As it was repeated to me. & yet I learned that I never had someone fight for thee, thee being little ol me. Oh how powerful is that Father, to have learned that you will fight for me.
Need I only to stand still.
Father oh Father, head my cry, hear my prayer, hear how I compare me to the children of Israel, oh the Israelites.
We talk mess about them, but can’t we relate to them?
I know me, I know I can. I asked today, what makes the focus shift from being all eyes on you, to having all eyes on fear?
It was the flesh, the flesh, that causes us to fear, it’s the unfamiliar that causes us to fear.
Father oh Father, but you showed us, through them, how not to be afraid,
yet stand still, keep calm, & we will have perfect peace.
I will have perfect peace, as I trust in you & keep my eyes fixed on you.
Not the problems, not the worries, not my troubles, but all that I have on me, to be all on you.
Father oh Father, hear my cry, hear my prayer.
As I’ve never known, what it’s like, to have someone fight for me.
How powerful is that message.
To know that a Father will fight for His child, because of the unmeasurable love that He has for His child. That being you Father, I want to measure you love, because what is it like to have that amount of love. What is that like Father, will I keep brushing it away Father?
Oh how comforting that was to know, that you fight for what belongs to you, you fight for what you deeply & truly love, you chase what is yours because I am yours.
Oh how you love me oh Father, but yet Father, I’m in this phase Father of wanting to return back to Egypt Father, for that’s all I know Father, but you want to part the Red Sea for me Father, to walk on dry land Father.
I think about Abraham Father, he left the land that he knew Father, to go where you were taking Him Father.
Will I ever get there? Will you get tired of me Father? As I’m going around & around Father, will you still fight for me in the midst Father, as I’m trying to let go Father? Will you help me Father?
Yes. Yes.
