I Have Something to Say — If they had issues, I can still be used.

Hey girl hey!

So real quick, I have something to say. This morning I was in my word, playing my gospel, & just spending some time with the Lord. I was getting ready to head out to breakfast after that & a gospel song by Whitney Houston “I Love The Lord” happened to come on next as the music was going. Long story short, (I’m also getting to a point where I just connect spiritual dots as they come to me lol) and it hit me as I was getting ready…

As we all know, Whitney unfortunately struggled with her known addiction. Of course in was tragic in the way that we knew that it ended for her at that time. But I say that to say…. If Whitney struggled with drugs, she can still love the Lord. (May she continue to rest)

You know how it goes,

Noah was a drunk

Jacob was a liar

Moses was a murderer with issues with speaking

Elijah was suicidal

And so on & so forth. So with myself, I struggle with perfectionism to mention something. But I can still love the Lord & He can continue to use me in the way that He’s going to use me. Just because I struggle with something doesn’t mean that I can’t be used for God’s glory & to do the things He’s set out for me to do.

So I say to you, you can struggle with something & still love the Lord & be used by Him. Just keep going, keep making space for the Lord to use you. If it’s not one thing that I learned just real quick with that Whitney song playing is that we ALL struggle with something & we can ALL still be used.
