Soften my heart, to become one of the softest hearts.

With each beat,

With every inhale, every exhale, let your breath of life,

Fill my heart with much of your love.

Love that I will not ever be able to comprehend.

Every thought that outnumbers every grain of sand of your God created beaches.

So I can become & receive everything that you have for me.

Soften my heart, so I don’t continue to keep you out, when all you want to do, is to come in & fix it.

Soften me, oh Father, make me as delicate as the prettiest flowers of your fields.

Handle my heart gently, handle my heart with care.

A care that I’ve never experienced before.

Gently enough that when I come to you,

with these broken parts of me,

you’ll be able to tend & care for it,

giving me all the TLC.

Let me release all of what makes my exterior so heavy hearted.
